Who We Are
The mission of our organization
The “Lanna Thai Childrens Fund” works with local communities in the Chaing Rai Province and Northern Thailand to develop and create better educational standards, while improving student life and creating a healthy learning environment in the schools of rural Northern Thailand. We do this by assisting students with basic needs, such as food, clothing, and transportation, giving children a healthy base on which to learn, and creating positive outcomes that enable needy student to invest in educational opportunities.

To improve educational standards, provide essential needs, and create a nurturing environment in Northern Thailand's schools and communities, enabling disadvantaged students to thrive and invest in their education, to unlock their full potential and build a brighter future.
Our goals
Education
The “Lanna Thai Childrens Fund” (LTC) assists in the educational process through local schools and cultural areas where needed in rural areas in Chiang Rai province and northern regions of Thailand. LTCF will insure children are provided a safe, nurturing, and clean school environment.
Scholarships and Grants
Students are assessed for scholarship stipends when available through the fund, scholarships are based on need, academic standing, and attendance. Scholarships amount to 1000BHT (one thousand Baht) per student per month. A portion is provided directly to the student and family vide for the student everyday activities such as food, transportation, and school supplies while the rest is held in trust for future educational opportunities such as higher education tuition.
Community
LTCF promotes a healthy and sustainable community environment for students’ families. LTCF develops and executes small projects in towns and villages in schools and cultural areas, providing clean water and sanitary living conditions.
Well Being
LTCF promotes and develops a healthy, productive, and sustainable lifestyle for all families and individuals at work, school, and at home. This is done by initiating both dental and physical Hygiene programs within the school and community.

What WE Do
LTCF contributes to school food programs to provide healthy, nutritious, and sustainable meals for all students. LTCF contributes to the purchase of needed supplies of food to ensure adequate portions area served to students through school lunch programs.
Classroom and facilities
LTCF contributes to small projects within the school common areas (any space used by all the student faculty and staff) and class room environments. Larger projects, projects over 30,000BHT (thirty thousand baht) will be done with cooperation from local donors and volunteers. Projects include playground and exercise equipment, grounds maintenance and beautification.
Kitchen
Cafeteria and kitchen facilities are be accessed and LTCF provides assistance where needed, such as putting adequate (anti-pest) storage in place, and assuring that cooking and food preparation equipment is safe and sanitary. LTCF assists with Cafeteria improvements such replacing substandard tables and chairs ensuring that students have a comfortable dinning environment.
Promote Hygiene
LTCF assists schools to put in place proper hygiene and clean facilities such restroom facilities, sanitary sewer, and clean drinking water distribution.
Environmental Awareness
LTCF promotes environmentally conscientious programs that teach children, and the community to be respectful to their environment and natural surroundings. This is done by initiating recycling programs and keeping the school neat and orderly.
